What is QR Code Pass?
A QR code pass is a digital entry ticket where each attendee receives a unique QR code — by WhatsApp, email or a printable PDF — that gate staff scan with a phone to admit them. The code encodes or references the attendee's record, so the scan instantly shows name, category and payment status, and marks the pass as used so it cannot enter twice.
QR passes have replaced paper coupons at Indian weddings, garba nights, exhibitions and college fests because they kill the two classic frauds: photocopied passes and gate-staff letting friends through uncounted. A Navratri organiser issuing 5,000 passes can see live how many entered, catch a duplicated code the moment it is scanned a second time, and skip printing costs entirely by delivering passes on WhatsApp.
