What we collect, and why
1. Contact form and newsletter
When you send an enquiry we store the name, email, mobile number and message you type, so we can reply. When you subscribe to the newsletter we store your email address. We never sell or rent this information, and we only message you about your enquiry or our product updates.
2. Anonymous visit statistics
Like most websites, we count page views on our own server — no Google Analytics data is shared with us unless we enable it, and no third party receives your browsing data from us. For each visit we record the page opened, the date and time, your device type (mobile or desktop), the website that referred you, and your country. To find the country we briefly process your IP address; once the country is identified, the IP address is deleted from our records. Statistics records are automatically erased after at most 400 days.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies only: ak_theme (remembers dark or light mode), ak_lang (remembers English or Gujarati), ak_session (needed for forms and the admin login), and ak_vid (a random anonymous identifier so we can count unique visitors — it contains no personal information). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
WhatsApp buttons
Buttons like "Talk on WhatsApp" simply open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message — nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp yourself. Your conversation with us on WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own terms.
Where data lives, and your rights
All data is stored in our website database on our hosting server. You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — one WhatsApp message or email is enough, and we will act within 7 days. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.
