What is QR Code Menu?
A QR code menu is a restaurant menu that customers open on their own phone by scanning a printed QR code on the table. Scanning launches a web page showing dishes with photos, prices and categories — no app download needed. The restaurant edits the menu from an admin panel, so price changes or sold-out items update instantly on every table without reprinting anything.
QR menus became standard in India after 2020 and stayed because they save real money: a laminated menu reprint for 20 tables can cost ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 every time rates change, while a QR menu updates free in seconds. They also quietly increase billing — photos and "chef's special" tags sell high-margin dishes better than a text list, and multilingual options help tourist-heavy towns like Dwarka.
